Cancel my booking for a paid course
Understand if you can cancel your booking and how to go about doing this.
As a training provider, we have many costs associated with your booking, including fees to professional bodies, insurance, world-class trainers, materials and more. Unfortunately, these costs often still need to be paid even if a student changes their mind about studying with us. For this reason, we have a strict cancellation policy that seeks to be fair to all parties, including our customers and suppliers.
Cancellation Policy
- Non-Refundable: All course fees are non-refundable after 14-days of purchasing. This policy is due to the fixed costs associated with course preparation and delivery, including software, marketing, staff salaries, and training materials.
- Payment Plans: For those on payment plans, the full balance of the course is due regardless of attendance. Payments will be spread out as agreed upon at the time of enrollment.
- Defferals: Deferrals can sometimes be made for students who are unable to attend the course due to illness or bereavement. This judgement will be made by the SPEAKup Challenge team and be subject to sharing proof of a situation (doctors note).
Cancellation Fees Based on Timing
- Prior to 28 days of the course start: £50 cancellation fee applies.
- 8-28 Days Before Course Start: A £100 cancellation fee will apply.
- Between 7 Days Before Course Start and Second Live Module: 25% of the total course fees will be due.
- Between Module 2 and 4: 50% of the total course fees will be due.
- After Attending All 8 Modules: 100% of the total course fees will be due.
Additional Considerations
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this cancellation policy shall be resolved by the SPEAKup Challenge Team and we will endeavor to find an amicable resolution.
